Vision

The fundamental focus of L.A. Love & Leashes is to help our city shelters save lives by increasing the number of animals adopted because unfortunately, no animal living in a Los Angeles city shelter is fully safe until being adopted into a forever home or rescued by an authorized organization.

Goals

1. 1.Our goal is to increase adoptions for L.A. Animal Services by providing the animals and future adopters the support they need, while also informing the community of the current shelter crisis and our efforts to aid in this crisis. Through fundraising, marketing, publicity, and events, our staff and volunteers are dedicated to finding forever homes for our animals.
2. 2.L.A. Love & Leashes works hard to not only make shelter pets comfortable in our care, but also to understand the personalities and behaviors of each animal to match them to a home that will last a lifetime. We also aim to make sure every adopter understands the responsibility that comes with adopting any animal, but especially a shelter pet. We do our best to support adopters however we can.
3. 3.A future goal is to create additional resources for LA Animal Services workers and animals in regards to getting animals out of the shelter and into their forever homes, focusing on alleviating medical and financial burdens.
