Goals

1. 1.Save More Vulnerable Dogs Increase HALO's capacity to rescue, rehabilitate, and place Havanese in vulnerable situations, especially those from commercial breeding facilities. Key objectives: Maintain or increase the number of dogs rescued annually. Expand the foster home network in underserved regions. Reduce time from intake to placement while maintaining adoption standards.
2. 2.Strengthen Medical Care Resources Ensure every dog receives the veterinary care needed to achieve the best possible quality of life. Key Objectives: Grow the veterinary care fund to support complex medical cases. Develop sustainable funding for high-cost medical treatments. Track and evaluate outcomes for medically complex dogs
3. 3.Expand Community Engagement Increase volunteer, foster, adopter, and donor engagement to strengthen HALO's rescue network. Key Objectives: Recruit and retain foster homes. Expand volunteer leadership development. Increase donor retention and engagement.
