Ann Arbor Rowing Club

Mission

The mission of the Ann Arbor Rowing Club (AARC) is to provide and promote a safe, affordable, and educationally rewarding rowing experience for residents of Ann Arbor and the surrounding communities. AARC focuses on establishing a healthy, fun, and affordable environment for those that are 18 years and older, with a complete range of programs from Learn to Row and Learn to Scull to nationally competitive Masters rowing. We also offer specialized programs for individuals with cognitive and/or physical disabilities. AARC is a proud affiliate of US Rowing.

Vision

The Ann Arbor Rowing Club provides an inclusive environment for adults to experience the benefits of rowing, whether for recreation, mental and physical fitness, or competition.

Goals

1.Maintain and improve financial solvency to adequately sustain infrastructure and operations supporting our mission.
2.Strengthen internal structures and processes so AARC can manage its growth effectively and sustainably.
3.Engage and retain members by enhancing the social and team-building aspects of the club. Provide a variety of opportunities for adults to participate in the sport of rowing.
