SparkPath partners with local colleges to host our field trip events, high schools to host some of our academic competitions, and other Minnesota Service Cooperatives to maximize statewide reach. SparkPath is a member of the Minnesota Council for Nonprofits and HandsOn Twin Cities networking groups. SparkPath engages regularly on social media and tables at volunteer fairs. SparkPath partners with the University of St. Thomas to recruit student volunteers through a business course that requires volunteer hours. SparkPath hosts in-office volunteer opportunities for groups from local corporations and colleges.

The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
SparkPath successfully rebuilt our customer and volunteer base following the COVID-19 pandemic due to the high rates of turnover in the education field. During the 2021-2022 school year, we held safe, in-person events adhering to the guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Health. In 2022-2023, we returned to more "typical" large, in-person events that looked similar to our programs held prior to COVID-19. After being unable to hold our STEMLink field trip for three years, we successfully returned to two of our partner colleges in the spring of 2023. We navigated staff working remotely, hybrid, and in the office full-time.
