Vision

Our vision is to broaden community access to meaningful musical experiences to everyone in our culturally rich state. The HSO remains committed to reaching our community through in-person performances and digital broadcasts that feature our gifted musicians, stellar guest artists, and renowned conductors.

Goals

1. 1.HSO will design and launch new program(s) that reflect evolving needs among the communities we serve, informed by audience feedback, participation trends, and strategic partnerships. These efforts aim to increase accessibility, relevance, and impact through inclusive, mission-aligned offerings.
2. 2.HSO will grow and expand existing programs to reach more people across Hawai‘i, increasing access through strategic scaling, enhanced outreach, and community partnerships. This effort supports greater impact, equity, and engagement with our current offerings.
3. 3.HSO will prioritize core programs that best advance our mission, focusing resources on high-impact offerings while scaling back or phasing out programs that no longer align with strategic goals or audience demand.
