Mission

La Jolla Parks and Beaches, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public benefit corporation (Tax ID#: 45-3281923) that preserves, protects, and enhances the parks, beaches, other recreational resources, open spaces and coastal accesses within an area generally located in the Village of La Jolla, California, extending south to and including the Bird Rock neighborhoods.. The organization relies upon active involvement by its board and community members to spearhead projects which improve the experience in the parks and beaches within our area for residents and visitors, and to respond to community concerns and requests. We are comprised of a board of volunteers who live or work or recreate in the area. La Jolla Parks & Beaches, Inc. is a recognized advocate of the community’s shoreline parks and beaches to the City of San Diego, the Parks & Recreation Department, and Council District #1.
