Mission

We help feed families in need. Each year, we raise funds, buy groceries, organize volunteers, collaborate with other non-profits and local community organizations to identify families in need and deliver groceries directly to those families who need the most help. We make sure they have a complete healthy meal to celebrate with their family, with plenty of leftovers, including fresh produce, turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, corn bread, rice and bean, corn, green beans, peas and more. We primarily work around the Thanksgiving holiday, but through our organization, we have also created multiple one time projects that helped secure year-round food recovery partnerships, delivering more than one million meals in the South Bronx, helped victims of Hurricane Sandy, supported one of the families from the Newtown/Sandy Hook massacre in 2012 by creating a scholarship fund for the surviving siblings, and did a complete home makeover for an individual family in desperate need following the murder of their mother by their father.
