A future where young and emerging adults can access professional beauty careers, build sustainable businesses, and achieve long-term economic mobility.

Goals

1. 1.Expand TLE Center for Urban Entrepreneurship workforce training programs by establishing licensed beauty schools, enabling larger cohorts to access licensure preparation, advanced apprenticeship training, and employment pathways in cosmetology, barbering, esthetics, and manicuring.
2. 2.Strengthen organizational capacity to support expanded workforce training by investing in instructional staff, program coordination, training technology, and employer partnerships that enable apprenticeship placements, job readiness preparation, and employment outcomes for participants entering licensed beauty careers.
3. 3.Advance awareness and support for licensed beauty careers as viable pathways to economic mobility by strengthening partnerships with workforce agencies, employers, and training institutions, and sharing TLE’s workforce training model to expand access to licensed professions in the beauty industry.
