The Live Like Roo Foundation is a 501c3 charity that assists animals through a cancer diagnosis by providing financial and emotional support to their owners. Since 2016, we have granted over $1,700,000 to families, rescues and shelters. Our cancer care packages provide joy and comfort during really difficult times and include all of Roo's favorite things-a blanket, treats, a tennis ball, toys and a bucket list. Roo lost his cancer battle in 2015 and we have carried on his legacy by helping others. We hope that everyone remembers to live every day as if it is your last....live like roo. (Less)

We work closely with open admission shelters to try to help owners to keep their pets instead of surrendering them. We have direct relationships with not just shelters, but also rescue organizations throughout the US. We attend the Best Friend Conference to further our learning. Online groups for non-profits have also been of great help to us.
