The nonprofit provides evidence of leadership through focusing externally and mobilizing resources for the mission.
We engage with many nonprofits and participate in collective impact efforts on shared goals to protect people and the planet. Examples of efforts: present at conferences, webinars, radio shows, podcasts, and community meetings; publish a daily news blog on the latest science and policy decisions, and produce online databases: Pesticide Gateway, Pesticide-Induced Diseases Database, What the Science Shows, Eating with a Conscience, ManageSafe, & Adverse Effects of the 40 Most Commonly Used Lawn & Landscape Pesticides; work with communities to help them transition to organic land management. We strive to inform and build a groundswell of support via social media, digital advertising, email, weekly e-newsletters, a quarterly journal, and our Action of the Week, which engages 1,000s of people; work with advocates to influence decisions at state and local levels, and monitor USDA and EPA issues, submit comments; testify at the Spring & Fall National Organic Standards Board, and much more.
