Vision

Our vision is to eradicate the instance of esophageal cancer in the US while raising public awareness for the disease and providing support for patients and families in the meantime.

Goals

1. 1.We aim to get some "Boots on the ground" in 2026 by scheduling and supporting 25 different events across the country conducted by members of our 2,000 strong membership. We have partnered with a medical device equipment manager to offer 25 "Event in a Box" packages that give volunteers everything they need to hold an event in their area; from a banner, signage, T shirts, giveaways and guidance.
2. 2.We intend to build on our existing financial resources by establishing an endowment program named after our founder, in observance of our 25th year, and establishing collaborative relationships and soliciting donations from organizations in the medical/healthcare community.
3. 3.We intend to approach nonprofits in our space and discuss the opportunities for partnerships, with an eye toward eventual merger or consolidation. Our significant financial resources put us in a position to shepherd this consolidation with an eye toward creating an organization where the sum is more than its parts.
