Founded in 2011, Friends of Franklin Parks exists to cultivate stewardship within our community to preserve our cultural and natural resources, conserve public open spaces, enhance the park and trail experience, and expand its legacy for future generations.

Goals

1.As we continue our work in the community, our goal is to further our existing programs for the community to enjoy.
2.We have recently hired three full-time employees: development director, communications manager and community engagement coordinator.
3.Ensure our goals reflect community needs: I.E. focus on land preservation to protect from commercial development.
