The mission of Northern Colorado Wildlife Center, a 501(c)3 independent nonprofit, is to protect wildlife and the places they call home through rescue, rehabilitation, education, and advocacy.

In 2024, NCWC envisions a year marked by remarkable growth and increased influence as we continue to succeed at our mission. Building upon our recent achievement in establishing a one-of-a-kind wildlife hospital space, our goal is to emerge as a regional leader in wildlife conservation. We aspire to extend our vision beyond the borders of Colorado, ensuring that animals in need receive the assistance they require, and that innovative wildlife rehabilitation becomes the standard rather than the exception.

Goal One: Sustain and share our lessons learned with organizations nationwide.

Goal Two: Acquire a new wildlife ambulance to serve our communities at no cost.

Goal Three: Advocate with local city authorities for the installation of additional wildlife crossing signs along roadways.

We encourage and help facility our team and leaders to attend workshops, trainings, and job shadowings to help expand their leadership knowledge and skills. We also have a plethora of internal digital and print resources to help hone skills or solve specific issues that arise.

Over the past year, the Northern Colorado Wildlife Center has responded to the increasing demand for care of injured, sick, and orphaned wild animals, exacerbated by urban sprawl, by establishing a new nonprofit wildlife hospital space, expanding their capacity to rehabilitate and protect local wildlife.
