Mission

The innovative nationwide mission of Boon is to end America’s reading crisis by providing and funding free literacy intervention for low-income and minority students failing to reach grade proficient reading skills and teacher training scholarships in structured language instruction methods—each based on the science of reading.

Vision

Boon seeks to end the reading crisis in America by giving all students reading instruction based on the science of reading that prepares them to become effective and successful readers for life.

Goals

1.To take programs to scale, to become financially sustainable, and to promote the fiscal responsibility we practice.
2.Mechanisms and partnerships are in place, only increased funding is needed to take essential programs to scale.
