The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: Construct an Education & Counseling Building:
Develop a dedicated facility for life‑skills classes, financial literacy, and parenting workshops, with sound‑proof counseling rooms for privacy and trauma‑informed care, plus a large meeting space for board meetings, staff trainings, and community partnerships.
Goal Two: Expand CALM Village Housing Capacity: Build at least one additional cottage to serve more working single mothers with children in childcare or school. Strengthen supportive services, peer connection, and long‑term stability, and enhance the Village environment so families can grow in confidence, community, and independence.
Goal Three: Deepen Community Partnerships: Collaborate with local agencies, churches, schools, and businesses to expand access to childcare, healthcare, education, and employment. Mobilize volunteers to support families moving to permanent housing and advocate for solutions that reduce homelessness among single mothers and children.
