Educate horse owners, advocates, and the general public about the realities facing America’s horses
Raise awareness through education and outreach to inspire responsible, humane actions
Reduce abuse, neglect, and horse slaughter by addressing misinformation and lack of transparency
Promote informed decision-making when horses are sold, traded, leased, or given to another.
Goal Two: Overall Programs Goals
• Promote physical, emotional, and mental well-being through safe, humane interaction with horses
• Foster empathy, confidence, responsibility, and life skills through horsemanship education
• Provide accessible, inclusive programs that serve diverse populations and abilities
• Strengthen the human–horse bond while prioritizing horse welfare and ethical care
Goal Three: Expand professional capacity: trained/licensed facilitators, instructors deepening program quality
Invest management systems: scheduling, data tracking, donor stewardship
Strengthen leadership/governance: staff development, board training & strategic planning
Build operational foundation to deliver consistent, high-impact programs while protecting welfare of horses in our care
