Mission

TO SUPPORT AND RESPOND TO THE NEEDS OF THE DIVERSE NEW ORLEANS COMMUNITY WITH JOY AND LOVE AND TO AMPLIFY THE CULTURE AND CREATIVITY OF NEW ORLEANS AS A FORCE OF GOOD.

Vision

Building a vibrant community hub, Beanlandia, that works to create the prerequisites of a vibrant community: learning, teamwork, a safety-net, culture, and children's programing. Beanlandia is a third space that is unique.

Goals

1.Working to develop our space, a museum and a community center. The building is old and needs heat / ac, a new roof, and insulation. In the past three years we have transformed it from a near vacant warehouse into a warm, inviting space.
2.Working to increase our community membership, which will in turn, help us add full-time staff to develop programs for the community.
3.Our space has immense potential to serve the community - we hope to increase programing and impact.
