Our vision is to create a network where every military service member, veteran, and first responder is empowered to heal, find connection, and thrive through the transformative power of outdoor recreation. By fostering a strong community of support and mental health awareness, we aspire to build a future where those who serve our country and communities are never alone in their struggles and always have the resources they need to lead healthy, fulfilling lives.

Goals

1. 1.Our strategic goal is to strengthen our advocacy efforts, raising awareness about the mental health challenges faced by military service members, veterans, and first responders. By expanding our outreach and partnerships, we aim to ensure that outdoor recreation becomes a key resource in supporting their well-being and healing.
2. 2.Our goal is to expand access to Hometown Hero Outdoors' programs by increasing the number of outdoor events and mental health services we offer. By scaling our reach and strengthening partnerships, we aim to serve more military service members, veterans, and first responders, ensuring they have greater access to the support and healing they deserve.
3. 3.n response to observed needs within the communities we serve, we are introducing crisis intervention training for all staff. This program will equip our team to provide immediate, compassionate support in crisis situations, ensuring that military service members, veterans, and first responders receive the help they need during critical moments.
