TO OWN AND MAINTAIN PROPERTY AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF EXTINGUISHING FIRES,PROVIDE AID AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE AT OTHER EMERGENCIES, EITHER NATURAL OR MAN MADE,THAT MAY OCCUR IN THE TOWNSHIP OF LACKAWAXEN, COUNTY OF PIKE AND TO ASSIST WITH MUTUAL AID AT FIRES AND OTHER EMERGENCIES IN NEARBY COMMUNITIES.
