Vision

Olympic Angels’ programs have one goal: to improve the experience of children, youth, and families experiencing foster care. We do this by recruiting, training, and matching community volunteers to local youth and families. The support, friendship, and relationship permanency provided by volunteers and staff increase the sense of security and stability of program participants and can radically improve academic, economic, and long-term outcomes for children and families.

Goals

1. 1.In 2024 we were able to add an additional case management position to reach more children and families, extending our geographic reach in the two counties on the Olympic Peninsula that we serve, and engage collaboratively and productively with other organizations with similar vision.
2. 2.Olympic Angels strives to understand and be responsive to changing demographics, legislative revisions, and shifting economic, social, and academic needs and opportunities in our communities. We do this by soliciting regular feedback from program participants, professional colleagues, and other constituents, both informally and through surveys.
