The Foundation's most significant activity is to preserve and deliver trusted, nonpartisan local journalism in the Bucks County (PA) area through its subsidiary, the Bucks County Herald.

Vision

We envision a Bucks County region where everyone has access to trustworthy local news that informs daily life, encourages civic participation, brings joy and connection, and holds the powerful accountable.

Goals

1.The Bucks County Herald Foundation’s goal is to sustain and expand the Herald’s free, nonpartisan local news coverage that informs residents, strengthens civic engagement, supports the local economy, and holds power to account. We aim to achieve full countywide coverage so that no one is living in a local news desert.
