Young Arts Arizona Ltd. is dedicated to: • serving challenged children through the arts • making children’s art accessible to the community through public exhibition. • empowering challenged children to achieve their full potential through artistic expression, art education, and exhibition of their art. • providing quality art programming, exhibition, advocacy, and art accessibility for children and the Arizona community.

Goals

1. 1.Increase the positive self-concept of challenged children engaging them in art making and publicly exhibiting their art, which is the culminating and rewarding activity of the art making process. Young Arts Arizona offers art making workshops for children in 4 medical facilities and 2 juvenile detention centers. Annually, we serve ca. 5000 diverse children of all ages, ethnicities, and genders.
2. 2.Broaden community outreach and art access by exhibiting children’s art in more public galleries. Currently, Young Arts Arizona shows children's art on a rotating basis in 40 public galleries in the Greater Phoenix Area. Our children's art exhibits are annually seen by approximately 2.5 million diverse community members.
3. 3.Expand our children's art programming to collaborate with more agencies that do not have art programs in place and therefore, serve more children with life altering and life limiting physical and psychological illnesses and conditions. Making art heals, instills hope, and aids in recovery.
