THE SCIENCE CENTER OF INQUIRY SEEKS TO IMPROVE SCIENTIFIC UNDERSTANDING AND LITERACY THROUGH THE ACTIVE ENGAGEMENT OF LEARNERS (ESPECIALLY K-8) IN SEARCHING FOR KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING THROUGH INQUIRY-BASED, HANDS ON, STANDARDS DRIVEN, AND PERSONALLY ENGAGING EXPLORATIONS OF THE NATURAL WORLD. IT PROMOTES "SCIENCE INQUIRY LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES BY ALL".
