Mission

We, the volunteers who make up Westie Rescue USA, provide education to the general public of dog owners through our website, public events, Scottish Festivals, and parades. WR rescues, rehabilitates, and re-homes West Highland White Terriers (Westies) on the East Coast , as well as support rescue efforts all over the USA. In the 30+ years of service, Westie Rescue USA has rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed over 1,500 Westies.

Vision

Build out a National USA network of Rescue volunteers so that every Westie who needs a new home can find the right home with a happy caring home with the love and resources to care for that Westies for life.

Goals

1.Build out 5th generation functional website that connects volunteers who help Westies, humans looking to adopt, owners seeking to surrender their Westie, and gov orgs that are seeking help with Westies in their shelters/control who need a second chance at life.
2.Provide the necessary resources to volunteer organizations, individuals and owners to receive the right guidance and information necessary for positive out comes on issues, actions and rescue support. Provide turn key solutions of daily operations, key outreach programs to inform the public, Vets, and Gov Shelters of their programs to assist Westies in trouble.
