Vision

Palomacy is closing the deadly gap in the animal welfare community that for too long has endangered and abandoned domestic pigeons and doves by providing advocacy, education, rescue, coaching, referrals, veterinary care, foster and forever homes.

Goals

1. 1.Rescuing, fostering & adopting as many pigeons & doves as possible: Palomacy staff (2) & volunteers (100) work hard every day to respond to nonstop requests coming in via our phone line, email, website & online help group to assist citizen finders, good Samaritans, shelter & rescue staff, etc. who need help with found, hurt &/or abandoned domestic pigeons & doves. Demand for our work is infinite.
2. 2.Community education, outreach & publicity: Palomacy staff & volunteers advocate for & educate about domestic pigeons & doves through our 41K member online Help Group, our extensive website resources, our social media channels & in person at outreach, community & adoption events. We serve as bird-centric experts for rescuers & good Samaritans. We need help to publish the analytics of all we do.
3. 3.Growing resources to meet growing awareness: Everything that Palomacy does (& has been doing since 2007) increases community awareness about the plight & potential of pigeons & doves & requires us to grow, grow, grow in order to meet the ever-rising demand for our services.
