We envision a world where every talented young adult, no matter their starting point, has the the same access, connections, and support to dream big and build a career they love as those with privilege. LaunchPad envisions an inclusive future where industries like entertainment, sports, and finance welcome underprivileged young adults by design and opportunity is defined by passion and ability, not circumstance.

Goals

1. 1.LaunchPad plans to scale from 1,000 annual participants in 2024, to 1,200 in 2025, and 1,500+ in 2026. We plan to achieve this by measured strategic growth in people, processes, and technology. Specifically, our team is growing and we are developing a proprietary program management platform.
2. 2.LaunchPad has hired a grant writer, increased the scope and sophistication of our annual gala, grown our Board and funder base, and is constantly striving to diversify and grow funding streams. LaunchPad has received a Board pledge to cover all operating expenses. So all future, non-board funding does directly to programs.
3. 3.LaunchPad is currently developing LaunchPad Studios. This new feature of LaunchPad will create paid, gig-based opportunities to build the portfolios of our participants. And will include at least one marquee portfolio project. LaunchPad is also creating a fellowship track for those that are ready to work within 24 months. This includes more intensive and urgent support and access and opportunity.
