Lauderdale County Foundation for Excellence in Education

Mission

The Lauderdale County School District Foundation partners with our community to enhance public education across 11 campuses, supporting more than 900 faculty and staff and over 6,000 students and their families in the Lauderdale County School District. We fund classroom innovation, student scholarships, and educator recognition, ensuring every learner has the opportunity to thrive. The Foundation is committed to bringing inspiration and innovation to the Lauderdale County School District. Our goals focus on enhancing learning opportunities and fostering student success through three key funding areas: direct support for teachers, direct support for students, and district advancement and operations.

Goals

1.Launch a Classroom Mini-Grants program to meet evolving educator needs by funding innovative, student-centered projects that enhance learning, engagement, and equity across Lauderdale County School District schools.
2.Expand access to STEM programming across all district campuses by scaling successful initiatives and introducing new opportunities that foster hands-on, real-world learning, critical thinking, and future-ready skills for students at every grade level.
3.Strengthen the Foundation’s capacity by increasing public awareness, expanding donor engagement, and enhancing operational effectiveness to grow financial support and maximize our impact across the Lauderdale County School District.
