Telling the L.A. story through self-guided historical walking trails.Angels Walk LA is devoted to enhancing the pedestrian environments of Los Angeles by developing self-guided walking trails that commemorate the history, architecture and culture of Los Angeles neighborhoods. Angels Walk encourages pedestrians to discover and explore Los Angeles by connecting directly with major transit and rail lines.Organizational Accomplishments: The Angels Walk LA website continued to be maintained and populated with new information for the Central Avenue walk. The Angels Walk LA Instagram continued to facilitate connection with the local community and like-minded individuals and groups, and keep followers abreast of new activities within the organization as well as to educate about the history of Los Angeles. Ongoing research was done to determine the feasibility of an Angels Walk mobile app, and ongoing efforts were pursued to develop a pathway for repair/refurbishment of older stanchions.
