Goal One: Our goal is to strengthen our partnerships with healthcare organizations through the creation and sustainability of a culture of caring and meaningful recognition. Evidence-based strategies and tools are relevant, applicable, and embraced by healthcare organizations. The partnership between DAISY and the healthcare organization (HCO) is strong and valued.
Goal Two: Provide meaningful recognition to nurses for
their extraordinary compassionate care, wherever they practice,
wherever they are in their careers. The body of evidence supporting meaningful recognition has
continued to grow. Exploring the impact of meaningful
recognition in nurse engagement, the patient/family experience, on
the healthy work environment and in the return on
investment is
important.
