Vision

We envision a world where honest conversations replace stigma, prevention replaces tragedy, and every young person has the opportunity to live a healthy life free from the devastation of overdose and substance abuse.

Goals

1. 1.Expand Nobody Plans On Dying’s youth overdose prevention and mentorship programs throughout San Diego County by increasing school partnerships, community outreach efforts, and access to educational resources. Our goal is to reach more youth with life-saving prevention education, early intervention support, and positive mentorship opportunities that encourage healthy, informed decision-making.
2. 2.Strengthen the long-term sustainability and effectiveness of Nobody Plans On Dying by investing in organizational infrastructure, staff development, financial stability, program evaluation, and community partnerships. These investments will improve our ability to expand services, measure impact, and provide consistent, high-quality support to youth and families.
3. 3.Develop new youth-focused prevention and support programs that address the growing impact of fentanyl, mental health challenges, and substance use among young people. New initiatives will include expanded mentorship opportunities, peer support groups, family engagement resources, and positive-outlet programs designed to build resilience, connection, and healthy coping skills.
