    New Horizon School and Learning Center

    Mission

    New Horizon School & Learning Center is a private, nonprofit, state-certified day school and after school program. Our mission is to serve students demonstrating average to above-average intelligence who experience learning difficulties. Our goal is to provide a therapeutic learning environment to ensure success at New Horizon School or in other educational settings. Our students may have been diagnosed with a specific language deficit, perceptual difficulties, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, non-verbal learning disabilities and/or attention issues. Some may also experience school phobia or depression. Many have gone undiagnosed and often feel deeply discouraged by previous school failures. Typically they have been unsuccessful learners in traditional classrooms.
